week in review

...because i'm out of breath... tonight was legs/freeweights. and wallsits. WALLSITS, people. It was terrible...

week in review, bullet style:
  • -10% cut at work, given .00038% days off in return
  • farmers market to the sounds of the Common Taters
  • searched for lavender oil to make soap. L'Occitane sells it for $18.99. Thanks, but I'll pass
  • stop at grocery on 3 separate occasions = forgetful... and bad at making crusts
  • blueberry pies (2), one with a store crust
  • dog park = water = dirty dirty dogs.
  • harry potter and the half blood prince - fine, but it's a bridge.
  • armday. running.
  • blueberry wine! and (more fun!) making labels for them!
  • wanting to redecorate - paint all the walls white, get rid of everything dark
  • went to countryliving.com and registered for all contests to remodel house. and a trial subscription. and a real subscription. and a subscription to house beautiful because it was $5.
  • down $15.
  • wishwishwished for a bathroom remodel
  • thought about tearing plaster off hallway upstairs; thought about moving entry to bedroom.
  • moved bed. moved it back.
  • laundry
  • tapas
  • nap in the sun (2)
  • trolled online for houses > 1 acre. options south or north, and lots over $300k
  • mowed
  • grumped about work

  1. Yep, that about covers it! :o)

Just so you don't feel alone.... there was a Newsweek article that said something like 50% or 70% (can't remember which) of people our age aren't happy with their job and will look for a new one ASAP when the economy gets better.

    Interesting....
