I read somewhere that if you think you're hungry, you should imagine a big fat sizzling steak in front of you. If the steak sounds good, you should should get a small snack, like milk or a hard boiled egg. If it doesn't sound that appetizing, you're not actually hungry.
Is it just me, or does the steak *always* sound good??
I heard/read somewhere that if you feel peckish, you should drink a glass of water before eating anything. Americans, apparently, tend to be rotund because we confuse dehydration with hunger and are really just eating ourselves fat when our body just wants some water. True or not....interesting. And something to think about!
