Things lately...

It's been a beautiful weekend... just gorgeous. We started off with a walk by the river on Friday night, where we snapped some of the pics featured on the updated site, which I've been playing with quite a bit, lately. (no really, easily, hours go by... maybe I've found my calling.) Things are seeming to slow down a bit, which is nice. We're really looking forward to our upcoming vacation to Michigan, so I think this week is just passing time until we can take a big deep breath and do NOTHING for a week...

Saturday was glorious. It was the perfect temperature, no clouds, the sun glinted just the right way... it was one of those days that almost just... sparkled.

I started the morning off planting bulbs with Lucinda and playing ball with Darby in the green space next to her house-- it was a nice, crisp, puffy-vest kind of morning. Loved it. Then off to Jed's company picnic, complete with a sack race for the kids, a warehouse tour, face painting and cotton candy...it was really sweet. Then, I spent the afternoon napping in our front porch. I snagged the sunny spot from the dogs, and woke up to find Poppy balled up on my chest, and Darby snugged down by Jed on the chair.

We had planned since Friday to have 80% cleaned on Saturday, so it's a nice, relaxing Sunday morning...

Here's to a week of coasting....
