Role Reversal

As the unconvential couple we are (he cooks, I mow the lawn.) I decided it might be nice for our anniversary yesterday to send Jed a mini cypress-tree at work. It wasn't anniversary flowers, by any means, but it was close.


Unfortunately, when 5pm came yesterday, and I left the office, my desk was bare. I called Jed on the way home and he asked tentatively... so... you didn't ...receive ...anything?...

Hm. NOPE.

Apparently 5+ inches of snow, plus the holiday had waylayed the delivery service, and turns out, they decided to deliver the bouqet to our house. Today. A Day Late... I hope the word "discount" or "shipping refund" was thrown around in some conversation, because the premiums they hike on near-holiday dates is beyond ridiculous...

Either way... I can't WAIT to see what I got!
