If I had a picture *right now* of my Christmas garb growing up, I would post it... honest.

I can recollect the velvet numbers... the yards of taffeta, lovingly sculpted in two different sizes... one for my sister and one for me.

So cute, you almost want to gag.... right?

I remember (seriously) thinking, as a kid, how lame it was that we were dressed the same... and how I secretly vowed never to do the same to my kids (...For shame!!!... matching, handcrafted Christmas finery!)

Yikes... not quite... but almost...

  1. I think we all turn into our mothers eventually. :o)

If you have two things (whether they be dogs or kids or cats or whatevers), it's fun to dress them alike!

  2. The one that sticks out most in my mind: the Minnie Mouse number. Black dress with white polka dots and red ribbon. Complete with puffy sleeves. Ah. Those were the days.
