What a relaxing day.... On Friday night, we went back to my parent's house so we could wake up early to go blueberry picking. I hadn't been since I was a kid and had forgotten how fun it was. We were on the first tram out-- through acres and acres of bushes planted in rows, some stripped bare, some loaded and waiting for the day's flock of pickers to descend. I love that we were given old galvanized buckets and were sent out to pick to our heart's content. After about two hours, I had picked 8.2 pounds of berries, Jed had only picked 5.4 (...first timer). We're excited to turn most of our share into blueberry wine... can't wait to taste that! August 2, 2008
A blue morning.

aww... I miss blueberry picking. Heard it was a good time, especially when Jed had to go after Dad who went MIA.
